Our top 5 favorite bachelorette destinations for spring and summer
Bachelorette parties have gone from a one-night-only excursion to a week-long vacay. I strongly believe there is room for both, and every thing in between. Whatever works for the bride and the bride’s best pals is all that matters.
So, for the bridal party looking to get out of town for the bachelorette weekend, this one is for you. Don’t worry, we will chat about ways to make a hometown bach unforgettable soon.
I am going to pick five very different locations today. All will range in price, type of activities, and levels of partying of lack thereof. I have my reasons. Buckle up.
Miami, Florida
This one is for my party girls! While the chill girl bach might be trendy right now, I know my MTV-lovin’ brides are still out there. Enjoy days in the sun relaxing, and nights in the clerb. Clerbin’.
Theme ideas:
Saturday Night BRIDE
Saturday Night Fever themed goodness. 70s, all-out. Bride in all silver sequins. Iconic.
Bae-Watch: Miami
Like Baywatch, duh! So many cute swimsuit ideas for this for the Miami pool clubs.
Burnin’ Love / White Hot
I couldn’t pick just one here — but regardless, have the bride in an all white and feathery look, with the bridesmaids in red, orange, and yellow with sequins and glitter accents.
Mrs. in Miami
A little more room to play here with color palettes while still paying homage to the location!
Charleston, South Carolina
This one’s for the non-Florida, southern coastal grandma gal. The grand millenial vibe. The cowboy boots in the sand. You hear me.
Theme ideas:
Last Sail Before the Veil
Fisherman core is in, right? A laid back bach would work so well with this theme. Think: A sailboat rental and a dream!
Coastal to Courthouse
For my elopement girlies. You can go very coastal chic with this option and do bows, powder blue, and embroidered bridesmaid sweaters.
Holy City Honeys
We love a play on words. Lean into the theme with an all-white bridal party night, cowgirl boots, and some line dancing!
Anchor Down, Bride’s in Town
“Nautical or nice?” was my next option. Go all out with stripes, LL Bean Boat Totes, and tortoise shell accessories.
San Francisco, California
Coast to coast! Let’s head to SF and enjoy the crisp air and public transit for the beachy bach.
Bride in the Bay
General theme? Sure. But SO much room to play! And if the bride is into baseball, go during a SF Giants game at Oracle Park. North Beach views, hot dogs, and men in tight pants? Sold.
Full House of Love
For the bride who has a big heart and bigger sense of nostalgia. See the Painted Ladies and walk down Haight Street for a sweet bach moment.
Vows and Vino
Enjoy the perks of being in Cali and drink lots of wine. Cute attire idea: Everyone is in red and the bride is in white or other way around depending on the bride’s wine preference.
Wife on the West Coast
Again, a bit general but leaves the imagination open, especially if you want to explore outside SF on your trip! Golden Gate Bridge hair clips or stickers for your girls would make the perfect souvenir.
Chicago, Illinois
Midwest is best, and Chicago is a fantastic example of that. Plus, it is a generally budget friendly option compared to Cabo.
Theme Ideas:
Love on the Loop
From the Navy Pier to Grant Park, enjoy the many nooks and sights of Chi-Town.
Windy City Wife
Tour de Chicago. Check out all of the Windy City delicacies like Portillo’s, deep dish pizza, and Wrigleyville.
Mrs. Magnificent Mile
Boujee brides are my everything. Spend your weekend luxury shopping (or window shopping) and eating like queens.
A Little Lakeshore Love
For the more outdoorsy bride who wants to be one with nature before hitting Wicker Park at night.
Las Vegas, Nevada
Roll the dice on a Viva Las Bride weekend.
Theme Ideas:
Viva La Bach
A classic, Elvis-themed bach fit with sequins and big hair.
Lucky in Love
For the gambling gals! Seeing lucky sevens everywhere.
Vegas Before Vows
Tiny little chapel vibes. You know.
Betting on Bach
Keeping the classic, old timey Vegas feel alive with this theme.
